AGENT 001 / CAPELLO, GUIDO
REMARKS
A first responder at Ground Zero in 2001 and a fixture in the bearding community, say hello to our first judge: Agent 001 FKN Guido! Aside from his trademark hats, he wears many others as an experienced competitor, judge, and owner of Mountain Man Oils, including sponsoring competitors and making donations to competitions over the years. In fact, during our Knight of the Night fundraising contest at the MABSC VI, he brought in over $900 for the Pink Ink Fund! Through his extensive travels, he’s competed in over 100 competitions and placed nearly all of them. In recognition of his long-term support and involvement in the community, he’s been presented with numerous awards including the 2019 Sponsor of the Year, 2018 Big Joe Johnson Award, 2016 Hampton Roads Beard and ‘Stache Society Beardsman Appreciation Award, and 2015 American Beardsman of the Year, among others. We’re happy to have FKN Guido on our panel, whose heart is as big as his personality.
AGENT 002 / PARKS, JOHNNY
REMARKS
Known in equal parts for his swagger and generosity, our next judge operates under the alias Bearded_Kraken as the former Co-Captain of Bearded Villains Northern Virginia. He’s lived up in NOVA for 39 years now and spends his days high...up in the air as a tower crane operator. That vantage point makes him an excellent lookout on sensitive missions near our nation’s capital and surveilling for covert federal agencies. Famously, he ██████████ and ██████████████████████████████████████████ in ███████████████████ and ███████████ the Ohio River Valley █████████████████████████████████. Our next judge is Agent 002 Johnny Parks!
AGENT 003 / VIAR, JOHN
REMARKS
Our next judge is a well traveled member of Cape Beard: Follicles of Freedom out of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Since 2013, he’s been instrumental in helping his club raise over $185,000 for local charities. Not every man can say that he’s been featured in a charity fundraising calendar, or on a beer label, or a drag pinup model, let alone all three at once! An experienced vet of both competitive bearding and the U.S. Air Force, we’re proud to have the least secretive agent around, Agent 003 John Viar!
AGENT 004 / OSHUN, INKERA
REMARKS
Our next judge posted 17,228 photos attending 28 competitions in 2019! Agent 004 Inkera Oshun believes that laughter is the best medicine you can reward yourself and the world with daily. She believes in #Magic and paying it forward. Inkera rarely meets a stranger! She loves people, facial hair, photography, and charity (giving back to others). These are four of her favorite things. This is one of the many reasons she fell in love with Beard and Mustache Competitions 5 years ago. She is not a professional photographer, she just likes to act like one.
AGENT 005 / KLOSS, SIR ANDREW J.
REMARKS
Like some other notorious agents, this judge is known by only one name: Kloss ...Andrew Kloss. If he ever became an evil supervillain, he would most definitely have a cat to sinisterly pet from his secret lair. Thankfully this World champion (2019), North American champion (2018), and Mid-Atlantic Best In Show champion (2017) is on our side, standing up for beards and even quitting his job when his dumb boss told him to shave or leave. Please welcome our well-traveled judge, and one of the nicest guys you’ll meet: Agent 005 Sir Andrew Kloss!
