ATTN: ALL FIELD AGENTS

For field agents who are deep undercover at their posts, aren’t able to rendezvous with the other agents on April 23, or even those who are attending in person and want a second shot at a title, now's your chance to earn a promotion and an official title at The Agency. We’re announcing our online-only Agent Field Promotion categories! Competitors who sign up for these BONUS categories will submit photos and a video of themselves online ahead of time and are evaluated by our panel of on-stage judges in the days leading up to our on-stage competition!

ONLINE CATEGORIES

Partial Beard

A partial beard is any facial hair that is neither a full beard nor a moustache. Natural or shaven gaps define the different styles and classes in this competition.

Good luck. Stay vigilant.

Judging Criteria

For the following categories:

AGENCY EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Full Beard

AGENCY CHIEFS OF STAFF

Styled Facial Hair

AGENCY DEPUTY DIRECTOR

Partial Beard

AGENCY CHIEF INSPECTOR

Moustache

The judges will be taking into account the following whether styled or natural, with the last criteria holding the most weight:

    • Density – How full the features of the facial hair are. Denser is considered better than sparse.

    • Size – Length is a consideration as long as it complements the overall look. A long, ratty beard shouldn’t score higher than a well-kept shorter beard.

    • Healthiness – The facial hair should look well-cared for, maintained, and robust.

    • Personal Fit – How well their facial hair suits his face, and compliments him.

The judges will be taking into account the following:

    • Craftsmanship – Quality in execution matters.

    • Creativity – What about their work or concept makes them stand out? What was their inspiration?

    • Complexity/Difficulty – When applicable to the concept, a more involved or detailed work is desirable.

    • Fit – If there’s a theme, how true to the inspiration is it?
